The usage of “Saints” in Scripture

1 Corinthians 1:2 2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: 2 Unto the church

of God
which
is
at
Corinth,
to them that are sanctified

in
Christ
Jesus,
called to be
saints,

with
all
that in
every
place
call upon

the name
of Jesus
Christ
our
Lord,
both

theirs
and
ours:

1 Corinthians 6:1 1 When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? 1 Dare

having
a matter
against
another,
go to law

before
the unjust,
and
not
before
the saints?

1 Corinthians 6:2 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 2 Do ye

not
know
that
the saints
shall judge
the world? and

if
the world
shall be judged
by
you,
are ye

unworthy
to judge
the smallest matters?

do
ye.

of Jesus
Christ
by

the will
of God,

brother,

unto the church
of God
which
is
at
Corinth,

with
all
the saints

intreaty
that we
would receive
the gift,
and take upon us

the fellowship
of the ministering
to
the saints.

2 Corinthians 9:1 1 Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the offering for the saints, 1 For

touching
the ministering
to
the saints,
it is

superfluous
for me
to write
to you:

many
thanksgivings
unto God;

I also,

after I heard
of
your
faith
in
the Lord

Jesus,
and
love
unto
all
the saints,

Ephesians 1:18 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 18 The eyes

understanding

calling,
and

the riches
of the glory
of his
inheritance
in

the saints,

this
grace
given,

that I should preach
among
the Gentiles
the unsearchable
riches
of Christ;

Ephesians 3:18 18 may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 18 May be able

to comprehend
with
all
saints
what is

the breadth,
and
length,
and
depth,
and

height;

of the body
of Christ:

Ephesians 5:3 3 But fornication and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. 3 But

fornication,
and
all
uncleanness,
or
covetousness,

let it
not be once
named
among
you,
as

becometh
saints;

Ephesians 6:18 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 18 Praying
always
with

all
prayer
and
supplication
in
the Spirit,

and
watching
thereunto
with
all
perseverance

and
supplication
for
all
saints;

to
all
the saints,

us
meet
to

be partakers
of the inheritance
of the saints
in
light:

is made manifest
to his

saints:

Jesus
Christ

she have washed
the saints’ feet,
if
she have relieved

the afflicted,

needful
for me
to write
unto you,
and exhort you

that ye should earnestly contend
for the faith
which was once
delivered
unto the saints.
