Adult Faith Development
There are a variety of programs available for the adults of the parish giving an overview to the major teachings of the Catholic Church which have been affected by the Second Vatican Council. There are also periodic presentations by outside speakers on topics of importance in Catholic tradition.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is a way to find out about and become a member of the Catholic Church. Team ministry to these people takes many caring adults in a variety of roles. You can enrich your faith as well.
Youth Faith Formation (YFF)
What is Elementary Faith Development?
In this program we help your children to become disciples of Christ, a process in which you – their parents – have the primary role. We do this by providing catechesis for all children on Sundays between September and May, along with Retreat, social and service opportunities. We give special emphasis to sacramental preparation.
We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:10am-10:10am at St. Peter Catholic School
Gives the 6th through 8th grade youth of St. Peter’s a chance to gather for faith development, social and service activies. Adult volunteers are needed. These activities can be rewarding to the volunteers as well as to the youth.
We meet Sunday afternoons at 4:00 in the Spiritual Life Center.
